Public hearings are held by the Illinois Department of Public Health pursuant to the state’s Health Facilities Planning Act. They are open to the public and afford interested parties an opportunity to present written and/or verbal comments relevant to a particular project. All allegations or assertions should be relevant to the need for a proposed project and be supported with two copies of documentation or materials that are preferably printed or typed on letter sized paper (8 1/2" x 11").
